Suru is Japanese for “through”, and the lounge chair of the same name is also the designer Carina Maria’s bid for a chair where the Japanese and Scandinavian idiom meets. The chair is made up of two beautiful shells in an organic form, one of which must break through the other. The chair rests on a wooden frame with large tap joints. The result is a beautiful and comfortable lounge chair that provides space for relaxation and immersion – without it being a heavy “float” as in a traditional armchair. A beautiful and central piece of furniture in a home where present and history meet.
