Description
Poul M. Volther’s 1951 dining table chair is recognizable as a classic from the golden age of Danish furniture design – and yet completely different from many of the contemporary chairs. The three horizontal backs create a good sitting comfort and some completely different lines than in many of the contemporary dining table chairs – where the lines were typically vertical.
It is an elegant expression that is recognizable as a predecessor to Poul M. Volther’s best-known piece of furniture: the Corona armchair. J48 is available both with and without fabric and leather seats and without upholstery.
